Lawrence Albert Sprouse; age 50 of Shepherd, formerly of McGraw, NY passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025 at McLaren Flint Medical Center after a long battle with basal cell melanoma. Larry was born July 20, 1974 the son of Lawrence Bryson and Sally (King) Sprouse. He enjoyed music, hunting, painting, and was known for his witty humor. Larry lived an adventurous life and was a free spirit. Before settling in the Shepherd area, he wasn’t afraid to travel the countryside on a whim. He worked as a house painter for over 20 years. He was also honored as a gift of life donor. Larry is survived by his daughter Tara Sprouse; his mother Sally (Steve) Sprouse of McGraw, NY; his father Larry (Dorothy) Bryson of Kirkwood, NY; sisters Maggie (Todd) Tuttle of McGraw, NY, and Jamie (Rex) Lombard of Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
