Carol Ann (Salisbury) Morey, age 86 of Winn, MI passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, September 19, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland. She passed as she lived, gracefully. Carol was born on November 7, 1938, to Eugene and Charlotte Salisbury in Alma, Michigan. She attended Shepherd Schools where she met Larry Morey. They were married on October 12, 1957. They settled in Winn where their four daughters were born. In 1970 Larry built their new family home on 52 acres two miles outside of Winn. They spent the rest of their lives on that idyllic property. Carol was a homemaker and nurturer her whole life. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and relaxing on her deck in the summer. She enjoyed cooking, especially her family favorite, Chocolate Turtle Cake – it remains unmatched. Carol is survived by her daughters Annette (Carl) Wright, Amy (Jim) Steere and Christina (Fred) Zalud; son-in-law Doug Curtiss; 12 grandchildren Zachery, Kelly, Sarah, Eric, Jillian, Troy, Jacob, Erin, Nikki, Bridgit, Jesse and Kaylyn; 11 great grandchildren; sister Mary Hoffman and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her husband Larry, her parents, daughter Colleen Curtiss and sister Betty Cowles. Services will be held, Friday, September 26, at 11 am at Berry Funeral Home with Deacon Todd Lovas officiating. There will be visitation on Thursday, September 25, from 5-8 pm. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery. Memorials can be made on behalf of Carol to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
