Michael Chris Jensen; age 75 of Vestaburg passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland. Mike was born January 24, 1950 the son of Ramond and Carol (Reeder) Jensen. He enjoyed golfing and traveling and life on the lake. Really just being by the water. He married Sue Recker November 20, 1998 and the two of them enjoyed wintering in Florida. Mike was proud of his military service as he enlisted in the Air Force in 1968 and also served in the Army National Guard serving in Operation Desert Storm serving over 27 years in the military all together. In his later years, Mike adored being around his grandchildren and going to all their events. Mike is survived by his wife Sue; 3 sons Mark (Samantha) Jensen of Carson City, Tad (Chelsea) Jensen of Frankenmuth, and Jared (Chelsea) Jensen of Carson City; two step-children Jenifer (Jasen) Tubbs of Villa Rica, GA, and Scott (Patti) Alexander of Williamsburg, VA; 6 grandchildren Kaylee, Liam, Nieve, Jack, Molly, and Whitney; 2 sisters Robbie (Bill) Stegman of Rockford and Nancy Wilmore of FL; and several nieces and nephews. Mike is preceded in death by both his parents. Services for Mike will be Monday, September 29 at 11 A.M. at Berry Funeral Home with Gary Copp officiating. There will be visitation from 10 A.M. until time of service. There will also be visitation Sunday, September 28 from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made on behalf of Mike to your local American Legion Hall.
