LeRoy Michael McCreery Sr.; age 78 of St. Louis passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab Center in St. Louis. LeRoy was born February 3, 1947 the son of Joseph and Emma (Husted) McCreery. He service honorably in the Vietnam War in the Army. He was a hard worker serving nearly 20 years at Hubscher’s as a plant operator. LeRoy is survived by his children LeRoy McCreery Jr, LeAnn (Robert) Griffin, Brian (Amanda) McCreery, and Shasta McCreery; step-children Lisa (Alan) Gager, Sharon Dowd, Sandy (Mike) Dawkins, and Mishele Johnson; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. LeRoy is preceded by his wife Cora; both his parents; his son Lee Hamilton; granddaughter Kesha Lee Taylor; 1 grandson; 1 great granddaughter; and siblings Melvin McCreery, Marilyn Leslie, and Darlene Allen. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
