Mary Lou Armola

Mary Lou Armola, age 81, of Alma, Michigan, gained her wings on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born on August 5th, 1944, the daughter of Arturo and Maria (Rodriguez) Sanchez. She was a devoted homemaker who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Mary enjoyed watching HGTV, QVC, and Dancing with the Stars. She loved tending to her flowers and decorating her porch throughout the changing seasons.
Mary will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor—she kept everyone laughing, even through her illness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her three daughters: Lydia Armola of Alma, Anita (Michael) Barrett of Muskegon, and Michelle Northrop of Alma; six grandchildren: Adam (Allison Hatch) Armola of Alma, Anthony (Amber Archuleta) Armola of St. Louis, Christina (Brandon) Martin of Midland; Ava, Eve, and Vivian of Alma, and four great-grandchildren: Adam Jr. Armola, Aliyah Armola, Ariah Armola, and a grandson who is expected in 2026 whom she already loved.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and Maria (Rodriguez) Sanchez.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the VFW Hall, 1295 W. Monroe Rd., St. Louis, Michigan, from 1:00pm to 4:00 p.m. A luncheon will be served from 1:00pm to 3:00 p.m.
