Carol Ethelyn Lombard; age 88 Riverdale passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center of Midland. Carol was born August 28, 1937 the daughter of Dean and Fern (Archambault) Race. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking cakes, bowling in her early years, and farming. She was a member of the Seville Community Church of God. Carol is survived by her husband Duane Lombard; 5 children Paula Summerlin of Webberville, Deborah (Bob) Simmons of Vestaburg, Brian Alexander of Bossier, LA, Alan (Denise) Alexander of Riverdale, and Jeffery Alexander of Mr. Dora, FL; 3 step-sons Scott (Jill) Lombard of Alma, Troy (Angel) Lombard of Alma, and Jeff (Becky) of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; 3 siblings Nadine Vining of St. Johns, James (Kim) Race of Shepherd, and Dennis (Barb) Race of Manchester, NH; and several nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by both her parents; her first husband Dale Alexander; and her second husband Harley Inbody Jr. Services for Carol will be Tuesday, November 25 at 11 A.M. at the Seville Community Church of God with Pastor Bob Fall officiating. There will be a visitation Monday, November 24 at the Seville Community Church of God from 4 to 8 P.M. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
