Mary Ellen Farlow; age 73 of Sanford passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland with family by her side. Mary was born June 9, 1952 the daughter of Jay and Gladys (Jerome) Butcher. She loved her family and very much loved being a grandma. Mary enjoyed butterflies and watching old shows like “Little House on the Prairie” and “The Waltons.” She married Glen Farlow Sr. in May of 1968. Mary is survived by 3 children Glen (Heather Johnson) Farlow Jr. of Burton, Brady Farlow of Sanford, and Jody Eastman of Sanford; 7 grandchildren Brittany, Katherine, Korben, Jeremy (Gabrielle) Sr., Justin, Jay (Keishia), and Kayla (Ryan); 17 great grandchildren; sister’s Kathy Kelly of Saginaw and Barbara Jones of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by both her parents; her husband Glen; daughter Hether Marie Farlow; and brother’s Robert, Eugene, and Charles Edwards. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
