Lenore Fisher, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and Shepherd community member, passed away on March 2, 2026, at Masonic Pathways in Alma, MI. Lenore was born February 10, 1937 the daughter of Marcus and Cleo (Mumy) Gillon. She dedicated many years of service at Total Petroleum in Alma where she was respected by colleagues and cherished for her hard work and warmth. Lenore found joy in spending time with her family and friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter and love. She was well-known for her delicious breakfast casserole and her famous strawberry shortcake, which were staples at family gatherings and celebrations. Lenore’s kindness, generosity, and ability to focus on the positives will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Lenore is survived by her husband Gale; sons Jim (Amy) Fisher and Mike (Sharla) Fisher; Grandchildren Adam (Cait) Fisher, Tara (Casey) Moore, Drew Fisher, Brendan Fick, Logan Fick; and great grandchildren Laura and Melody. She was preceded in death by her parents Marcus and Cleo Gillon and her beloved sister, Mary (Hank) Yates. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will be remembered fondly for her caring spirit and the special moments she shared with loved ones. Lenore’s family extends their sincere gratitude to the caregivers at MyMichigan Health and Masonic Pathways for their compassionate care, dignity, and support during Lenore’s final days. Cremation has taken place and there will be a funeral mass held Wednesday, March 11 at 11 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Shepherd with Father Fred Kawka officiating.
