Monica Coreen Zelis; age 46 of Sumner passed away March 25, 2026 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor with family by her side. Monica was born March 4, 1980 the daughter of Gerald Williamson and JoJean (Ken) Coston Eastman in Carson City, MI. She married Brandon Zelis August 25, 2007 in Riverdale. She worked for Montcalm Care Network as a Medical Assistant. Monica loved riding her motorcycle and caring for her son as well as the many other people that were in her life. Monica is survived by her husband Brandon of Sumner; son Landon Zelis of Sumner; mother JoJean (Ken) Eastman of Gowen; brothers Jeff Schreer of Missoula MT, Chad (Johneen) of Bread Rum VA, William (Justine) Eastman of Greenville. Monica is preceded by her father Gerald Williamson and infant son Sander. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
