William Alan Wheeler, age 64, of Mt Pleasant passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at his home. Billy was born February 8, 1962 in Clare the son of Shirley (Kerby) Young and William Wheeler.
Billy was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Billy was a hard worker, we worked construction most of his life.
Billy is survived by his two sons, Blain (Michaela) Wheeler of Wyoming and Garrett Wheeler of Mt Pleasant; his grandson Aidan Wheeler of Wyoming; his sisters, Karen Beck of Remus, Penny Beck of Alma, Tamara Reynolds of Mt Pleasant and Ronnie (Steve) Langlois of Mt Pleasant; his brothers Gordon (Peggy) Wheeler of Mt Pleasant and Kirk (Jen) Wheeler of Mt Pleasant; many nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Roxie Lindner.
Billy is also survived by his loyal dog, Brutus; friends Pat Ralston, Eric Sowmick, YadaYada and Tim & Marcie; and his work family at Bill’s Custom Fab.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Rachelle Holmes; and his granddaughter Skylar Angelina Nicole Wheeler.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no services per Billy’s request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
