Donald Wayne Kent, age 64, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City.
Don was born September 26, 1961, the son of Fred “Bud” and Judy (Snyder) Kent. He enjoyed working on cars, collecting coins, and spending time with family and friends at get-togethers. Don will be remembered for his love of visiting with those closest to him and the many memories he shared with them over the years.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Kent; his children, Tony (Kara Davis) Schoen, Roxanne (Marty) Smith, Sarah (Jay) Carll, Stephanie (LD) Kinney, and Jennifer Lutz; grandchildren Tyler Schoen, Andrew Schoen, Amber (Noah) Gale, Chelsea (Tanyth) Bass, Tamika Carll, Andrew Carll, Jonathan Sandel, Eathan Sandel, Kylie Vanzee, Bryan VanZee, Taylor Baylie, and Averie Powell; seven great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Lynn Childress of Lansing and Lori Berry of Virginia Beach.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Fred “Bud” and Judy (Snyder) Kent.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463, 1440 S. Isabella Road, Mount Pleasant, MI 48858. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Don’s life.
