Barbara Jean Oswald; age 79 of Lake Isabella passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by family. Barb was born February 3, 1946 the daughter of Walter and Shirley (Johnson) Zingery. She married Terry Oswald July 11, 1964 and was an intrical part of the Oswald Oil Company. She enjoyed crafting and painting. Barb was a master baker and cook often making things from scratch. Her family thought of her as the unofficial lifeguard of Lake Isabella always making sure everyone had their life jackets on. They often had a lake house filled with grandchildren and family and Barb had great fulfillment in making them happy and watching the sunset at the end of the day. Barb is survived by her husband Terry; 3 sons David (Nicki) Oswald of Breckenridge, Troy (Melody) Oswald of Rockford, and Justin (Jenny) Oswald of Weidman; 9 grandchildren Taylor, Paige, Jordyn, Jayde, Alivia, Ava, Alexa, Matthew, and Morgan; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Barb is preceded by both her parents; her sister Janet Hester; and sister-in-law and close friend Norma Oswald. Services for Barb will be Saturday, May 24 at Berry Funeral Home at 11 A.M. with Steve Gulick officiating. There will be visitation from 10 A.M. until time of service. There will also be visitation Friday, May 23 from 4 to 8 P.M.
