Jesse Lee Martinez; age 53 of Weidman passed away March 17, 2026 at MyMichigan Medical Center of Midland. Jesse was born May 10, 1972 the son of Jesse M. and Anna (Pitts) Martinez. He enjoyed fishing and doing tattoo work for family and friends. He also enjoyed freehand drawings and working on cars. Jesse worked as a DJ and was known as the Spanish Flyz. He married Brenda Elliott October 14, 1995. Jesse is survived by his wife Brenda; his son Jacob Martinez; daughter Brittney (Cody Baldwin) Martinez; 3 grandsons; 3 siblings Katrina Stanley, David (Macey) Martinez, and Adam (Beverly “Skeeter”) Martinez; mother-in-law Gail Main; brother-in-law Gary (Penny) Elliott; and several nieces and nephews. Jesse is preceded in death by his grandparents Anastacio and Catalina Martinez and Wayne and Joyce Pitts; his father Jesse M. Martinez; mother Anna Wiley; and nephew Tyrone Stanley. Cremation has taken place and the family is considering a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
