Keith W. Priest, age 95, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Hearts Content AFC Home in Breckenridge.
Keith was born on November 21, 1930, the son of Albert and Jane (Lang) Priest. He worked as an auto mechanic and was known as someone who could fix just about anything. Keith enjoyed attending antique tractor and steam engine shows and had a lifelong love of aviation. A licensed pilot, he especially enjoyed flying his 1948 Piper Cub.
On May 16, 1946, Keith married the love of his life, Velma Husted, and together they shared many years of marriage and family.
Keith is survived by his five children: Sandi Tresch, Danny (Nancy) Priest, Wallace (Lou) Priest, Barbara Peet, and Carol (James) Stewart; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Velma Priest; his son, Philip Allen Priest; his grandson, Jerry Searles; his great-grandson, Wesley Searles; and his siblings, Ronald Priest, William Priest, and Charlene Carrick.
A private graveside service will be held. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Keith’s life on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at 6518 W. Houghton Lake Drive, Houghton Lake, MI 48629.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
