Alma Mae Hess, age 66 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully Friday, June 6, 2025 at Prestige Centre in Mt. Pleasant. Alma was born November 15, 1958 the daughter of Herbert and Stella (Wilson) Hess Jr. She enjoyed bowling, volleyball, croquet, and being at family events. She always walked the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day. Alma was a collector of dolls and stuffed animals and they usually had a cup in hand ready for a tea party. She was a very happy, caring, cheerful person who usually had a smile on her face. She was very outgoing. Alma was quick to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Alma is survived by her 2 brothers Herb (Natasha) Hess of Victorville, CA and Ross (Tammy) Hess of Horseshoe Bend, AR; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Alma is preceded by both her parents and sister Nancy Snyder. Services for Alma will be Thursday, June 12 at 1 P.M. at Berry Funeral Home with Chaplain Kevin Maksym officiating. There will be visitation from 11 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for services.
