Adeline Ruth Ann Kiehl; age 9 of Shepherd passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Helen Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. Adeline was born December 5, 2015 the daughter of Ronald Kiehl Jr. and Kara (Kenny) Kiehl. She enjoyed dancing, 4H, hunting/fishing, picking flowers, baking with mom, crocheting with grandma, sour candy, and going on dates with daddy. She was always thinking and loving on people with her very caring heart. Adeline was able to participate in her Wallk of Life connected to the Gift of Life organ donation program. Adeline is survived by her parents Ronald Kiehl Jr. and Kara Kiehl; 5 siblings Ronnie Kiehl III, Keagin Kiehl, Rachel (Austin Recker) Kiehl, Remington (Raymond Bachelder) Kiehl, and Riley (Sam Rogers) Kiehl; grandparents John and Martha Kenny Sr. of Shepherd and Ronald and Waynette Kiehl Sr. of Shepherd; great grandparents Shirley (Dick) Scott of Bad Axe, Naomi Spencer of Shepherd, and Duane and Ella Kenny of Shepherd; Aunts and Uncles John Kenny of Shepherd, Kayla (Nate) Webster of Vestaburg, Wayne Kiehl of Shepherd, and Ronette Kiehl of Shepherd; and many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and friends. Also, people near and dear to Adeline are Rory Stoudt, Maelynn Hulings, Katie Bellinger, Rob and Jillian DuHadway, her dance family, the Loomis family, the Buckner family, and her Victory family. Adeline is preceded in death by her sister Kinsleigh Buckner; her bonus dad Arjay Buckner; great grandparents Wayne and Audrey Putnam, Jack Spencer, and John and Betty Kiehl; her cousin Spencer Kenny; and aunt Kelsie Rae Kenny. Services for Adeline will be Saturday, June 14 at 11 A.M. at Victory Church in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Curt Blanshan officiating. There will be a visitation from 10 A.M. until time of service. There will also be a visitation Friday, June 13 from 6 to 8:30 P.M. at Victory Church. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
