Waneta Marie Russell, 51 of Mesick, MI passed away, on September 4, 2025.
She was born June 27, 1974 to Joann (Ripley) Russell and Mallory Russell.
She enjoyed crafting, reading and making sweet treats to share. Her enthusiasm for figuring out the perfect gift to make for her niece, nephews, family and friends would be all consuming. She was a lover of all animals and rescued many over the years, which brought her immense joy and purpose.
She spent 15 years with the love of her life, Rodney Levandowski. They spent many hours enjoying the outdoors and their little piece of heaven in Mesick.
She is survived by her parents, Mallory (Laurie) Russell, siblings, Owen (Rachel) Russell, Ethan (Kimberly) Russell, Haley Russell, nephews, Mason, Weston, Rhett, and Reed, niece, Avari and her dear cousin Bobbi Jo.
She was preceded in death by Rodney Levandowski, Doris Levandowski, Joann (Ripley) Russell, infant siblings, Kimberly and Eric Russell, grandparents, Minnie and Fred Russell, Nellie and Lyle Ripley.
Cremation has taken place per Waneta’s wishes.
A Memorial Service will be on October 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
