John Wayne Wonsey
John Wayne Wonsey, 57, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2026.
John was born on April 12, 1969, the son of Kenny and Nancy (Rood) Wonsey. A true backyard mechanic, he enjoyed working on vehicles, spending time running the roads, and lending a hand whenever something needed fixing.
In January 2001, John married the love of his life, Kathy Marks. Together they shared many years of memories and companionship.
John is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathy Wonsey; his children, Heather (Wendell Martin) Klein, Joseph Boggan, Aaron Marks, and David (Brittany) Forgar; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Rex Wonsey and Brenda Wonsey; one niece; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenny and Nancy (Rood) Wonsey.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
