Cecil enjoyed the simple pleasures that came with family, hard work, and the outdoors. In his younger years, he loved camping around Michigan with his family, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Later in life, he and his beloved wife, Yvonne, whom he married on May 3, 1958, looked forward each year to spending several weeks camping together in Gulf Shores. He also developed a passion for collecting old John Deere tractors, enjoying both their history and craftsmanship.
Above all else, Cecil treasured time spent with his family. He loved attending family gatherings and especially cherished the moments shared with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
