Donald Noel Judge; age 79 of Shepherd, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Comfort Care in Mt. Pleasant with family by his side. Don was born March 14, 1946 the son of James and Irene (Lynch) Judge Sr. He married Cynthia Dickman April 11, 1969. Running the family farm was his life and livelihood and he loved being a farmer. Raising his baby calves was his hobby. Don instilled a hard work ethic with his children who he was always supportive of. He enjoyed traveling with his family and going out to eat was always a treat. His four grandsons were a major highlight of his life. He always looked forward to their annual car show trip where the boys would pick him up for breakfast before going to the Maple Syrup Car Show. Don is survived by his wife Cindy; 3 children Rick (Wendy) Judge, Annette (Fred) Sponseller, and Randall (Robin Wonsey) Judge all of Shepherd; 4 grandsons Nick (Stefanie Colwell) Sponseller, Chad (Finnley Thorp) Sponseller, Lucas Judge, and Noah Judge; in-laws Chris (Jean) Dundas, MaryAnn Judge, John Dickman, Janet (Frank) Defever, Robert (Evelyn) Dickman, Sharon (Matt) Snyder, and Gary (Christa) Dickman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Don is preceded in death by both his parents; siblings James Judge Jr., Kathryn Judge Dundas, and Karol Judge Brown; brother-in-law Thomas Brown; and niece Jeannette Brown. Services for Don will be Monday, August 11 at 11 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church with visitation from 10 A.M. until time of service. There will be a visitation Sunday, August 10 at St. Vincent de Paul Church from 3 to 8 P.M. with a vigil service at 7 P.M. Memorial contributions can be made on behalf of Don to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
