Maxine Rosella Sorensen; age 65 of Sumner passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 17, 2025. Maxine was born January 7, 1960 the daughter of Charles and Rosemary (Sanborn) Fox. She married Jerry Sorensen November 5, 1994. She enjoyed fishing and hunting and was also an avid reader. Maxine is survived by her husband Jerry; daughters Billie Jean Reed and Kimberly (Jim) Donley; her son Danny Reed; and 2 grandchildren Crystal and Jonathon; her brother Bob Sanborn; and special nephew Isaiah Ramos. Maxine is preceded by both her parents; sisters Julie Ann Fox and Virginia Sanborn; and brothers Chucky Fox, Richard Sanborn, and Billy Sanborn. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life Friday, May 23 at 11 A.M. at the HopeWell Ranch (6410 W Leiter Rd., Weidman, MI 48893). Arrangements have been entrusted to Berry Funeral Home of Shepherd.
