August 5, 1950 – December 31, 2025

John Arthur Grim, age 75, of Shepherd, passed away December 31, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.  He was born August 5, 1950, the son of George and Geraldine (Rhode) Grim.  John worked at Grim Printing in the commercial printing and newspaper business until its closure in 2015.  He also farmed, raised cattle, and was a bus driver for Shepherd Public Schools.  John enjoyed hunting, classic cars, and spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilee (Hamlin) Grim; his sons, Corey (Kyle) Grim and Phillip (Meagan) Grim; granddaughter Ada Grim; brother Jack (Brenda) Grim; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11 am at Coe Church of Christ.  Donations to the Maple Syrup Festival may be made in lieu of flowers.  Envelopes will be available at the service.
